Day Ride – Forestry Trunk Road – North to Nordegg Junction

Day Ride – Powerface Trail, Kananaskis, Spray Lakes, Canmore

Finally had decent weather and some time off again. I wanted to get some more practise on backroads and gravel.
Not a bad day. Much of the route I’ve been on before in the truck or car. A bit cooler in Kananaskis and it even, gasp, started to snow at higher altitudes.

KLR’s First Service, Fixed Throttle and the $50.00 Piece of Gravel

After screwing about for an hour with cables, adjustments and trying to get the throttle to work properly I took the bike in for an inspection. I honestly thought I’d exhausted all the possibilities. Nearly all the accessories for the KLR are ready to go now. The last pieces are the Trax side panniers/luggage and SW Motech EVO side racks. Those are on the way and should arrive in about 8-10 days.
