Had a chance to ride with an old VFR riding buddy – Paul. We both toured together a few times on our VFRs and have since switched to the same type of bike again – the Africa Twin.
We had a day ride to head to Blairmore/Coleman along the Forestry Trunk Road. Great late season weather….
The summer trip was a success. We had an unbelievable experience exploring some of the remote areas of central and north-central British Columbia. Spending most of the trip away from humanity, traffic and stress. It was certainly an area that I’d go back to do more rides in as the terrain and scenery were amazing.
A bit of decent weather. First of the year.
I decided to go for a quick rip out to Kananaskis and a beef jerky run in Longview, Alberta.
Enjoyable ride in spite of the snow in the Rockies. Quiet on the roads and only seven bike sightings in the 300 kilometer ride.
